Her art encourages positive thought; surrounding souls with beauty, love & joy is her gift of gratitude for Life.

A new resident of Bourton on the water, her most recent works have been inspired by the ever-changing landscapes of the Cotswolds. More paintings are “a twinkle in her eye” & yet to be breathed into life onto canvas...

 

Tessa specializes in “Healing art”: facilitating individuals & groups to express & embrace themselves through art. She facilitated art & creative writing workshops at a treatment center for alcohol & chemical dependency in George, South Africa. These workshops comprised of various art & crafts: painting/drawing/paper mache/pottery. Drawing with the non-dominant hand, exploring Inner Critic/Inner Child & integration between the right (analytical) & left (creative) brain & language centers.  Each workshop has different components that are suited to the group (ie: Dementia  sufferers/Trauma victims/Family integration/Business team-building etc)

Focus is on: the process, not the product (this is not an art lesson).

Building self-esteem/motivation & inner peace are the foundation of these workshops.

These workshops can be held at any venue, with groups of 2-15 people. Tessa will also work on an individual basis.

 

Tessa also gives art lessons that are exclusively individual. With her extensive experience & qualification in Interior Design, she can set up a studio or “creative zone” in your home & also give you lessons in the comfort of your home!

 

She has sold 65 paintings to date & donated as gifts the same amount. Various pieces sold are now in homes in: Switzerland, UK, USA, France, Portugal, Namibia & South Africa.

Any style, in any medium, in any size can be commissioned. She can paint your favourite landscape from a photo, or co-ordinate an abstract to the size & style of your interior. Tessa even paints furniture!  A creative, talented & well-loved lady whose passion for excellence is reflected in all her endeavors.
